Cinemark USA, Inc. Announces Holiday Fundraising Program to Benefit Toys For Tots

National Movie Theater Chain Teams with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation To Help Millions of Needy Children

Plano, TX (October 15, 2005) - Cinemark USA, Inc. announces its partnership with the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation to benefit America's needy children this holiday season.

This October, Cinemark will launch an online campaign at www.cinemark.com to support Toys for Tots. Customers will be able to purchase Cinemark gift cards to donate to disadvantaged and deserving children. Customers can also make a cash donation to Toys for Tots on the website with those funds going to purchase other toys and gifts for needy children across the country.

"Cinemark is honored to be a part of this wonderful program," said Terrell Falk, Vice-President, Marketing and Communications for Cinemark USA, Inc. "Cinemark is in the business of delivering fun and entertainment to children and their families, and we are especially pleased to know that the partnership with Toys for Tots will help provide needy children with a more hopeful and happy holiday season."

According to the U.S. Census Bureau there are an estimated 13 million children in the United States living in poverty. Last year, Toys for Tots distributed 19 million new toys to 7.2 million of the neediest youngsters. The Toys for Tots program conducts activities throughout the year that generate toy and monetary donations for contribution to the development of underprivileged children in the U.S.

"We are pleased to have Cinemark as a national corporate sponsor," said Lieutenant General Matthew Cooper, USMC (Ret), president and CEO of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. "Their support will help us meet the challenge of providing messages of hope to our nation's neediest children."
