Carmex® Partners with the USO to Send
Soothing Relief to the Troops
Washington, DC - October 27, 2007 Carma Laboratories, Inc., makers of Carmex® Lip Balm is joining forces with the USO this holiday season to supply a therapeutic treat to deployed service members.
Carma Laboratories, Inc. has donated 50,000 moisturizing Lip Balms to be included in Operation USO Care Packages to give soothing and tingling healing to military personnel deployed overseas. The lip balms are made of all natural ingredients and contain SPF 15 to provide protection against sun exposure.
Recognized and approved by the Department of Defense, the Operation USO Care Package program provides a way for the American public to support the members of the U.S. armed forces who are separated from their families this holiday season. Each care package is full of requested items, such as prepaid international calling cards, toiletries, snacks, and sunscreen. Care package sponsors also can include a personal message thanking service members for their service and sacrifice.
