Toys"R"Us, Inc. Announces Results for the 2007 Ultimate Toy Drive to Benefit America's Neediest Children

Nation's Leading Toy and Baby Products Retailer Helped the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation Bring Smiles and Toys to Deserving Children During the Holiday Season

Wayne, NJ - January 17, 2008 Today, Toys"R"Us, Inc., along with the Toys"R"Us Children's Fund, announced that its 2007 Ultimate Toy Drive to benefit the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation raised over $3 million and collected more than 600,000 toys this holiday season. As the largest retail partner in the 60-year history of Toys for Tots, the company collected toys and money in all Toys"R"Us and Babies"R"Us locations nationwide and online at www.Toysrus.com to help the organization provide gifts to many of the 13 million children living in poverty in the United States.

To jumpstart the campaign, Toys"R"Us, Inc. gave Toys for Tots $1 million worth of toys and the Toys"R"Us Children's Fund awarded the organization a $100,000 grant. In addition, this year Toys"R"Us, Inc. matched the total number of toys collected in all its stores to provide Toys for Tots with twice the number of toys donated by its customers. All toys collected through the campaign stayed in the community where they were donated to benefit needy children in the area.

"As a company, we are committed to helping children in need and the Toys for Tots campaign is something that our customers relate to as well," said Jerry Storch, Chairman and CEO, Toys"R"Us, Inc. "We are proud of the efforts of our customers, our employees and our communities in helping us collect toys and funds to help bring smiles and toys to America's neediest children during the holiday season."

"Toys"R"Us has been a tremendous partner over the last four years, and the synergies between our two organizations have made for a powerful partnership," said Lt. Gen. Matthew T. Cooper, USMC (Ret), President and CEO, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. "Nothing is more heartwarming than being able to make the holidays a little brighter for those less fortunate, and we are extremely grateful to Toys"R"Us for all of its efforts this year in making the campaign a success."
