TOAST TO THE TROOPS

First Degree designed the "Toast To The Troops" campaign and found a unique way for the Jack Daniel Distillery, distillery workers and their customers to show American troops how much they care. The $100,000 corporate donation by Jack Daniels sponsored USO Care Packages, and their customers made a special "Toast To The Troops", which were included in the packages.

By going to the Jack Daniel's website www.jackdaniels.com or filling out postcards at selected retail outlets, customers could send their special messages of support for the troops. The company collected the toasts from February to July 2005, and then hosted an Operation USO Care Package "stuffing party" in Ft. Campbell, Ky. The event brought together distillery workers, USO volunteers and military families to send the toasts, along with the USO Care Packages, to our troops abroad. The event was capped off by a private party, featuring a performance by country music superstar Craig Morgan.
