Summary

THINKER. STRATEGIST. LEADER. We are looking for someone that has confidence in their skills and can come to a project with a vision map of the right creative angle, messaging, audience engagement, channel/platform selection and package it in a way that clients will easily see how it provides the integrated glue to give them the lift they are looking to achieve.

The Director of Integrated Marketing & Communications will work across all accounts to conceptualize, plan, and implement integrated marketing campaigns. This key person in our company will be creative and possess strong leadership and strategic planning skills, as well as amazing client interface abilities.

 

This is a full-time position at 1st Degree and an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take their career to the next level working in an agency environment. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications.

 

The workplace for this position will be mutually agreed upon with options including full-time space at any of our 40 Moore offices throughout the country, hybrid office/remote or full-time remote with collaboration travel for client and team meetings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work across 1st Degree account teams to design, implement and measure integrated campaigns for clients.

  • Act as subject matter expert on client meetings presenting strategy and results.

  • Lead design of campaign budgets, vendor engagement, cross-company integration and reporting plans.

  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products, vendors, and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns.

  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of marketing channels/devices, industry trends and new vendor relationships to implement effective marketing campaigns.

  • Communicates effectively with excellent writing skills across multiple writing styles, including emails, proposals, statements of work, presentations, document editing and briefs.

  • Provides ongoing status updates to company leadership and client as well as campaign results.

  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with coworkers, external vendors, and clients.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven success in campaign strategy, framework, development, and execution across multichannel campaigns.

  • Proven client leader with the ability to guide a team of performance marketers.

  • Ability to synthesize business objectives, and create a well-aligned Integrated Campaign strategy and execution plans with clearly defined metrics and KPIs.

  • Strong analytical mindset, combined with a creative and strategic framework to design and optimize engaging and empathetic campaigns that resonate with nonprofit constituents.

  • Strong knowledge of implementation in digital marketing channels both earned and paid.

  • Strong presentation, problem-solving, and budget management skills.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, friendly, dependable, and proactive.

  • Must be able to multitask, have strong attention to detail, be highly organized and able to consistently manage 5+ projects and multiple clients at a time.

  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills with comfort presenting to C-Suite clients and company leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to travel when required.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 7+ years of work experience/member of a marketing/communications team of a nonprofit or in an agency setting, managing marketing and advertising.

  • Knowledge and background in full suite of marketing tactics including digital, advertising creation and placement, and creative development.

  • Understanding of the principles of fundraising and communications for nonprofits is highly desired.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required, without the need for sponsorship.
